Meet Ahmad

Curiosity is the starting point.

I’m Ahmad Alabbas, from Saudi Arabia. I study electrical engineering and physics at KFUPM, and I’m interested in the connections between science, technology, and building useful businesses.

A notebook for the work

This website brings together the things I’m studying, building, reading, and noticing. Science offers a way to understand the world. Engineering offers a way to make something work. Business asks whether that work is useful to other people.

I’m interested in all three, and in the lessons that appear between them. My projects include Veelad, Ausket, and ALABBAS.

Beyond the desk

Books, travel, and learning languages offer other ways to see familiar things differently. This space gives those experiences a place alongside technical notes and project updates.

What you’ll find here

There are notes on physics and engineering, essays about software and business, a reading shelf, and field notes from exploring the world. The first collection contains draft essays to develop into a personal archive over time.
